At East Linton Primary School we have a new much more capable web-site which can be found at www.take2theweb.com/pub/sso/eastlinton/. Over the next few months and years we will be able to show you the work that the pupils and staff are developing in digital story telling, interviews and all sorts of other exciting and innovative digital media. To get a flavour of our ambition and ability we are previewing a very stripped down, (on purpose!), interview with Alex Kapranos, the lead singer of Franz Ferdinand. Our own P5 star ,Harvey, asks Alex what his favourite venue to perform in is at present, you guess, we deliver! The rest of the 20 minute interview will be supported by video and other creative media for your pleasure, and will be available on the same page after the holidays. Visit our site regularly to keep up with the work our pupils are publishing. Feed back for our pupils can be supplied to: p5live@eastlinton.elcschool.org.uk . Many thanks to Alex Kapranos for his amazing and brilliant support to out project. He was absolutlely fantastic with our pupils, all you have to do is listen and you will see/hear the evidence with your own, (borrowed/enhanced), organs!
Meanwhile we have a project that will be the first in the world to be posted on Wikpedia after the new year, contact me to find out what our P6 class will be doing to create a bloodsucking stir across the globe. I might just tell you, Laguvullin special reserve does the trick!
