Needless to say we didnt win the quiz last night. 6th out of 15 teams. Still at least we knew the capital of Paraguay!

Today's subject tutorial saw a visit from Lesley Stokes from Scran ( www.scran.ac.uk). She very kindly came along to introduce the geographers to the online image bank that scran provide to 98% of scottish secondary schools. Scran also provides a means for unit packaging, worksheet/poster creation and short video clips. This is a brilliant resource as it is not only very easy to use but also avoids the tricky situation with regards to copyright infringment.
