Two tasks today. First of all, model making. As a reward for all our hardwork over the term we spent todays tutorial creating contour models out of cardboard. A bit of fun and practical as they could be used in classrooms to explain geographical features.
The other task of the day was collecting the GTC application pack for our probationer year. We have 2 days to decide where we wnat to go next year. IT seems to be a choice between East Lothian and the greater Edinburgh area or a "lucky dip", which most likely means a posting to the outer hebrides and a £6000 handshake...needless to say it is a hard decision. I am truly torn between East Lothian, an area which I have come to love, or the unknown posting far from home.
