Higher students are currently sitting their prelims and it’s a nervous time for the pupils and me. Thoughts vary greatly from: ‘they should be able to answer that type of question’ to ‘should I have told them about Chamberlain’s diary entry where he stated……’ ! In other words it has been challenging to encourage them to be individual learners without spoon-feeding them the course and the answers.

Their History prelim is next week – good luck folks!!
