Really enjoyed my first Christmas break as a teacher – it felt long and although I had many S4 Prelim scripts to mark, I feel suitably rested and recharged. Spent most of the break candidly justifying teachers holidays to friends and family, and revelling in the fact I get great hols as opposed to the 21 -23 days per annum I’ve previously been given by employers!
