The Positive Behaviour Team
The Positive Behaviour Team are funded by the Scottish Executive. Every authority in Scotland has an assigned officer to support the recommendations of the Better Behaviour - Better Learning (2001) report.
The Positive Behaviour Team, previously referred to as the Regional Communication Team, consists of 8 members. Each team member has responsibility for a cluster of 3 - 4 authorities. The remit of the team is to disseminate and support the development of approaches to promoting positive behaviour throughout Scotland.
The team can offer education authorities and schools training on various initiatives that help to promote positive behaviour. They act as a pillar of support with the authorities implementation of the Better Behaviour - Better Learning recommendations.
