What are the difficulties of taking students out of school for fieldwork activities and how can we overcome this?

Fieldwork
I am looking into possible venues for an s3 field trip and am having trouble finding
places online. Can anyone recommend a venue? I would like to focus on glaciation
and can then bring other aspects of the course in depending on the place. I would
like to go to either the Lakes or stay in Scotland.

Fieldwork Venues
Think I might be able to help you here. A couple of questions: How many students do you want to take? Will you take a coach or minibus? How long do you want to go for? Will you be delivering the fieldwork yourself or do you want instruction provided by the field centre?
