East Lothian Outdoor Education Staff Development Opportunities 2006-2007
CPD opportunities available with the East Lothian Outdoor Education Service.
These courses may be counted towards your Continued Professional Development (CPD) – some charges may be applied.
There are four types of course:
Personal Skill Courses aim to increase skill levels of candidates in a specific area – with the possibility of progressing on to Local accreditation or National Governing Body Awards.
Local Accreditation Awards enable you to lead groups of pupils/adults in specified local areas.
National Governing Body Award (NGB’s) are nationally recognised awards enabling you to lead groups. There may be a registration fee payable to the appropriate National Governing Body.
NQT Days will be informative & practical sessions about the outdoor education provision in East Lothian, advertised through the probationer training programme.
