How can Parents help?
If you're a parent in East Lothian you can help make a difference. You can, for example, get involved with:
- supporting your own children's learning
- supporting your child's school, through
parent associations or School Boards
- influencing decisions made at local authority level, such as East Lothian's emerging plan for parental involvement

Involvement Survey
To get East Lothian's parental involvement strategy right we need to listen to, and act on, the views of parents, teachers and students. The first step is gathering views, and a survey is currently under way (28 April 06).
Getting involved
Here we're aiming to bridge the gap between wanting to get involved, and making a start.
