Something in the air.

It must have been the weather that caused all the pupils to be slightly hyper-active today. Both the classes that I taught were slow to settle and the corridors saw many children that had been sent out of the classroom. Having now laminated all the named cards for the first year display I proceeded to cut them out. This process was interupted by some badly behaved pupils in the room across the corridor. So Ollie brought them into his classroom to work in silence. All the staff seemed to feel the same way today...for some reason the children were all hyped up. Maybe it was the Standard Grade prelims down in the main hall, who knows.

I was both sad and relieved to realise that today would be the last time I would be teaching two of my second year classes (due to the shadow study next week). Hopefully they have enjoyed the lessons and most importantly have learnt lots about earthquakes and tsunamis.
