Marking, Teaching, Planning, Helping

I spent the morning recovering from the late night of parent's evening and managed to finish marking my Higher RLD tests and the 2nd year jotters (all 87 of them). With that done I could get on with planning tomorrow's lessons. I also managed to see Derek Simpson and let him know what days I would like to do my Shadow Study on (next Wednesday and Thursday).

My only lesson of the day was the Higher set who have now moved on to the RLD case study of the Sahel. Again this lesson went well. I am now quitely confident that the class are enjoying the lessons and listening to what is being said. I ate early today as I spent the lunch break in the Learning Support Base. This was another great experience. A few of my first years came in to ask for help with their homework, which is why I was there, but it was also nice to help some of the other students with their questions.

I spent the last two lessons of the day printing out and cutting up pieces of paper for the first year wall display of the countries of the world. I am sad that my placement is coming to an end but I know that I am going to be very appreciative of the lie-in. Two days in a row I have fallen asleep on the bus on the way home and missed my stop!
