Windows Live Local

I meant to blog about this last week – but got distracted with the Xchange Conference and job interviews. If you haven’t seen it yet its worth checking out. Basically Live Local is Microsoft’s rival to Google Maps.

I have to say that the satellite imagery is of far better quality than that currently available within Google Maps and most of Google Earth. Here are two examples of Dunbar harbour from Google Maps
