Feeling hot, hot, hot....

Today was hot…..very hot. I sympathise with
Brian’s post last week. I wish that in our new schools we could have had some air conditioning, or at least some ventilation. I felt the most sorry for the students who informed me that my room was one of the cooler rooms that they had been during the day.
Quite a lot going on today including a back log of emails to get through. I am out of school for the next two days at Musselburgh Race Course for a coaching course and looking forward to the experience. The introduction of the coaching programme is one of the
planned actions of exc-el. Colin is in covering me while I am away. I’ll keep my blog up-dated with how I get on.
After school we had a quick Duke of Edinburgh Award meeting (away with the silver and gold group this weekend) and I then headed into Edinburgh for a meeting at the University. It’s not long until we are presenting on teaching the weather in Colorado and we still have our poster to put together – time to get cracking!
