Easter Holidays

The Easter Holidays seemed to go very quickly! I spent the first week on the south coast, which seemed to just disappear. I managed to build into the holiday a trip to look at the new West Bay Sea Defences (Rural Land Resources) and a Tour of the Portland Navel Block Redevelopment (Urban Redevelopment) – sad isn’t it! It turns out that my old friend from school James Chalmers is in charge of the redevelopment project, he has agreed to take photographs of the development over the next two years so that I can produce a more detailed case study. The artist’s impression of Ocean View is pictured on the left.

During the second week I spent three days in school running revision classes for Advanced Higher, Standard Grade and Higher. The sessions went well (although the Higher session could have been more focused). The school facilitated 51 revision classes over the three-day period and the classes were all well attended with over 120 people attending on each of the days.

I spent the last few days of the Easter holidays painting my spare room. After spending six years living in Edinburgh and driving to East Lothian each day I have decided its time to move a bit closer to school and to get a greenhouse!
