Atlanta

It must be the holidays soon……..

Caught the flight from Edinburgh to Atlanta and will be flying to Denver Colorado in the next couple of hours. The flight rates as my worst ever trans-Atlantic experiences. I particularly enjoyed the ‘flash’ and ‘bang’ of an electrical fault just before take off!

I will be at the American Metrological Societies Education: Weather, Oceans and Climate (EWOC) Conference for the next five days. The conference programme looks quite interesting and I’m looking forward to catching up with a few old friends from the Dunbar / Knox Fieldwork expedition to Wyoming back in 2002 (I’m sure its Doc’s round!).
