On Thursday the 17th of March 2006 representatives of the school Eco - Committee visited the studios of Forth FM to record a short Forth Action broadcast, outining the ideas behind our Eco - Project. The connected audio file is the result of their efforts.

Gullane Primary School is thrilled to have successfully installed its Renewable Energy Project.
The School Grounds Improvement Group had been looking for ways to, not only enhance the environment around the school, but also to promote awareness of environmental issues in the school and community at large. The overriding feature of the playground is that it is almost constantly windswept so they came up with the idea of not only trying to provide shelter from the wind but also to harness its energy.
