Brian Cunningham	Tuesday 22 August 2006 12:15:53 pm Technicians Consultative Conference: 1 to 3 November 2006 I have received nomination forms for the 2nd annual conference for technicians that will take place on the 1 to 3rd of November 2006 at Crieff Hydro. The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for technicians and other relevant interests to exchange ideas and discuss the progress of the development programme for technical support staff in schools. Numbers are restricted to one technician delegate from each local authority (in addition to the councils STAG representative) and while it is envisaged that the delegates will be predominantly Science Technicians, applications from AV / ICT / Technical Technicians and Lab Assistants are welcome. I need to provide names by Friday the 8th of September, so if anyone is interested please contact me by the 1st of September. Should a number of people express interest in attending, the delegate will be chosen via a lottery. I have copies of the report of last years national conference compiled by SSERC and STAG that I will send out to all the schools.
