New Stationery Contract
Hi everyone. Just thought I'd give this forum a go!
Does anyone know more than me about the new stationery contract? I received a catalogue in the internal post today. Does anyone know if we also get an East Lothian price list? I start the big requisition for 2006/07 after the February break and teachers will be looking for stationery prices very soon.

Stationery Contract
Hi Val
I haven't received a new catalogue yet - I think this will be one of the presentations at the Admin Conference? Did you get the email from Carolyn Smith sent on behalf of Julie Caughey earlier this week about new suppliers? I think Julie might be the contact to get a price list from. Let me know if you didn't get the email and I'll forward it to you.

New Stationery Contract
Thanks Judi- I did get the e-mail.
I received a catalogue for Lyreco in the internal mail but hopefully these are not the prices we are paying! I hope we get a list of East lothian prices as I need to circulate it to teaching staff after the Feb break. Although the prices will presumably be on Pecos, it's not accessible to teaching staff- they need a printed list. I'll wait and see what happens on the In-service.

New Stationery Contract
I have spoken to Lynne Wilson this morning regarding this and she tells me that Lyreco should be available as a catalogued supplier on Pecos by Monday. It is also her intention to email out a hard copy of the East Lothian Contract price list for core items. I received a copy from her this morning, and at first glance, their prices appear good. I have to say that Office Supplies will take some beating, in terms of service and speedy delivery, and am very disappointed that we are moving away from them. Let's hope that Lyreco turn out to be as good.

Stationery prices
Thanks Pam. I didn't like to phone purchasing because I'm sure everyone is wondering what's happening but my requisition is only 10 days away and this couldn't have happened at a worse time for me. Like you I hope they are as consistent at Office Depot.

New Stationery Contract
Have been in touch with Lyreco regarding prices for the ink cartridges and imaging drums for the 6 x 2500 coloured laserjet printers we have in school supplied by IT. I have been getting the cartridges from Viking but have found out that I can get them from Neat Ideas a lot cheaper. Lyreco eg want to charge me £170.00 for an imaging drum - neat ideas £99.00. The colour ink cartridges are a lot dearer as well. Neat Ideas have been withdrawn from the list. What schools have the same printers and where do you get your cartridges from??

Cartridges for new Printers
We have had them from Office depot for £77.99 for colour and £64.99 for black which is a better price. Hopefully Lyreco will come in at about the same price, especially if everyone is ordering from them.

New Stationery contract
Have just been onto PECOS and had a look at the catalogue and I find that the particular cartridges I am looking for, do appear to be cheaper. I phoned up Lyreco this morning and they told me that no discount would be offered on these particular items. It now looks as if there is a discount offered.
