To get East Lothian's parental involvement strategy right we need to listen to, and act on, the views of parents, teachers and students. The first step is gathering views, and a survey is currently under way (28 April 06).
This survey, running to the end of term, includes face to face interviews with parents at school gates, PTA and School Board meetings; with students, including School Councils; and with teachers. We're making the same survey available here to help ensure we hear from a wide sample of people.
Please select the appropriate questionnaire for you from those below. You can return it by email, or, if you prefer, by post to Richard Parker, Education and Childrens' Services, East Lothian Council, John Muir House, Haddington EH41 3HA.
Please email your completed survey to Susan Guy .
It's planned to make these surveys available in other file formats. If you've any problems with reading these files please contact us .
We'd like to know what you thought. Have you any ideas for improvements? Just use the feedback form.
